So, if you've been reading the earlier posts about my time in my Model Creation class you'll understand the process of how we built our geometry, learned better edge flow techniques, UV/Normal Maps, and high-frequency ZBrush sculpts. These are all concepts that can fit into just one model, however, that was not the intention of this class. Our overall goal was to create an entire medieval scene. My choice was the interior scene, so I would create relevant items such as tables and other furnishings.
Now, our instructor gave us some insight into creating a better seen within the first week. Frank had mentioned the best thing to do was go ahead and think of a theme for your scene. What do you want to convey with the model or models that you're creating? How do they connect? To be fair, this all made sense, what we're doing is an art form and we can provoke something from that. All we're doing is creating a different form of composition.
So each week we would continually add our models, moving them about. Adding them from each week until we come out with a render like this.
